Highlights of WCA"s & Girls Gotta Run's "A Moving Commentary"

On Saturday afternoon, the exhibition "A Moving Commentary" opened in Takoma Park and despite the multitude of art events going on, had a large crowd. The exhibition is produced jointly by the Women's Caucus of Art, Greater Washington DC Chapter and Girls Gotta Run Foundation and includes wonderful images along the theme of "running" and shoes.

I have one very reasonably priced photograph in this exhibition that you can check out as well!

Proceeds from the sale of artwork will go to Girls Gotta Run, which provides financial assistance and support to girls living in Ethiopia who need running shoes to participate in sports. For more information about Girls Gotta Run and how you can help, click here.

The exhibition is on view at the Takoma Park Community Center through the end of October.
